Projects currently underway include:

The collation of information on fish requirements and surplus stocks between PCFA members. This will enable future vetting and bulk purchase of fish stocks from commercial dealers and breeders.

Developing opportunities for young people to be introduced to angling by offering angling taster sessions and promoting links with angling coaches.

Promoting best practice within the industry via the mass distribution of a Sensible Fish Care leaflet to member fisheries and coaches across the UK.

The 'Right to roam' legislation.

Non indigenous species legislation.

Environment Agency licences.

Code of Good Practice for Fishery Management legislation.

The Cormorant issue.
